United Kingdom, May 13 -- Home Alone actor Macaulay Culkin feels like he has "unfinished business" with his late co-star Catherine O'Hara.

Catherine passed away in January, aged 71, and Macaulay has insisted her death was "too soon", and he still feels as though he owes his on-screen mother "a favour".

Speaking to Gentlemen's Journal, he said: "When Catherine passed away in January, that hit me.

"That hit me pretty good, 'cause, you know, it was just too soon.

"I definitely feel like I had unfinished business with her.

"I feel like I owed her a favour - and I don't like having an outstanding debt."
