United Kingdom, Oct. 7 -- Lily Allen is "trying to give up vaping".

The Smile hitmaker, who previously signed a deal to advertise Vype e-cigarettes back in 2019, has admitted the habit has become a "coping mechanism", and she's no longer in a position where she needs to use that "crutch".

She's quoted by the Daily Mail newspaper as saying: "I'm actually trying to give up vaping now, annoyingly. It's just not serving me any more.

"It's been a coping mechanism and a crutch for me, but I'm feeling in a pretty good place and I think I can get rid of it."
