United Kingdom, July 13 -- Elle star Lexi Minetree was "very intimidated" by Reese Witherspoon before she met her.

The 25-year-old actress takes on the role of Elle Woods in the Amazon Prime series - a role made famous by Reese in 2001 movie Legally Blonde.

So providing a new take on the character was a big ask for Lexi.

She said: "I think in the beginning I was very intimidated because it was Reese Witherspoon and enough said there."

However, once she actually met Reese, she realised she had nothing to worry about.

She told the Hindustan Times: "She just has such a warm presence about her that she just makes you feel very at ease.
