United Kingdom, April 16 -- Lena Dunham is "really excited" about finding a way to have a family of her own.

The Girls creator - who married musician Luis Felber in 2021 - previously revealed she had undergone a hysterectomy after years of struggling with endometriosis and she has recalled how she didn't focus on how having her uterus removed would stop her carrying a baby until after the procedure was complete.

And after grieving what could have been, Lena found hope in other people's stories.
