United Kingdom, Oct. 19 -- Emmitt Smith thinks Dancing With the Stars has changed dramatically since Len Goodman's passing.

The former NFL running back was crowned the Dancing With the Stars champion back in 2006 - but Emmit believes that Len's passing, in April 2023, has changed the TV show.

Speaking to Us Weekly, Emmitt explained: "Len was the ultimate ballroom judge and he did not like a lot of freestyle stuff. So, a lot of those hip-hop things that you see right now is probably because Len is not around any longer, unfortunately."

Len died of prostate cancer, aged 78, and Emmitt has hailed him as a "great judge" on the show.
