United Kingdom, May 13 -- Kylie Minogue was impressionable "in the best possible way" when she met Michael Hutchence.

The 57-year-old pop icon was 21 years old when she dated the late INXS singer - who died aged 37 in 1997 - from 1989 to 1991, and she has reflected on their romance in her new documentary series.

As reported by the Daily Mail newspaper, in upcoming Netflix series Kylie, she said: "I was 21 when we met - and really impressionable... I mean that in the best possible way."

The I Should Be So Lucky hitmaker described her former flame as "kind", "deep" and "artistic".
