Kristin Davis was 'very scared' about motherhood before adopting
United Kingdom, July 8 -- Kristin Davis was "very scared" before she became a mother.
The Sex and the City star adopted Gemma Rose in 2011 and Wilson in 2018, but admitted that prior to that, it was her "thing" that she didn't want to get married or start a family.
In a conversation with Jesse Tyler Ferguson on his Dinner's on Me podcast, Kristin - most famous for playing Charlotte in the beloved TV series - said she was more than a little apprehensive before she started her motherhood journey.
She said: "I was very scared. Very, very scared, so it took quite a while for me to do it."
Kristin went on to urge others thinking about becoming a parent to "really examine what you're being motivated from".
