United Kingdom, Sept. 16 -- Earl Spencer has claimed King Charles said "we'll forget her soon enough" just days after his sister Princess Diana's tragic death in 1997.

Charles Spencer, the 9th Earl Spencer, has made the shocking allegations in his memoir, Swan Song: Diana, My Sister, which he said he decided to write to correct "untruths" about his late sibling.

Recalling arranging Diana's funeral after her passing, the Earl said that he had been opposed to the now King's decision that his and Diana's sons Prince William and Prince Harry, aged 15 and 12 at the time, would walk in the funeral procession.
