United Kingdom, Aug. 2 -- Kimberly Van Der Beek said she felt like "the luckiest woman in the world" when she married James Van Der Beek, in an emotional tribute marking their first wedding anniversary since his death.

The Dawson's Creek actor lost his three-year battle with stage 3 colorectal cancer aged 48 on February 11, and on Saturday (01.08.26), Kimberly, 44, took to Instagram and reflected on 16 years since they married at the Kabbalah Center in Tel Aviv, Israel, and the family they built together.
