United Kingdom, May 28 -- Kelly Clarkson was reduced to tears as she reflected on the end of her TV talk show.

The 44-year-old pop star previously announced that she was calling time on The Kelly Clarkson Show, the talk show that she launched in 2019, and Kelly became visibly emotional while speaking to Rita Wilson about the decision.

Rita, 69, told Kelly on the show: "I just want to say one thing before we go. I want to thank you for the years that you've been doing your show. I want to thank you for literally changing the game when it came to daytime television.
