United Kingdom, July 15 -- Kelly Bensimon is "lucky to be alive" after being involved in a head-on car crash in Sarasota, Florida, on Monday (14.07.26).

The reality star was in an Uber with celebrity chef Andrew Molen when their car was rammed by an oncoming vehicle while turning left onto the busy Tamiami Trail.

The terrifying crash caused the Uber's airbags to inflate, and knocked Bensimon unconscious.

She, Molen and the driver of the other car were taken to the hospital, where doctors X-rayed Kelly's right arm - which she feared was broken - and gave her a CAT scan.
