United Kingdom, July 6 -- Keith Richards regrets not being able to perform with Amy Winehouse more than once.

The Rolling Stones took to the stage alongside the late singer at the Isle of Wight Festival in 2007 - before the Back to Black star died from accidental poisoning in 2011.

He told The Sunday Times: "I was always sort of 'well, I'm bound to meet her down the road'. You expect things to happen, and unfortunately no.

"I'm just very glad and honoured to have played with her at least once."

The Rolling Stones have included their interpretation of Amy's tune You Know I'm No Good on their new album Foreign Tongues - with frontman Mick Jagger's harmonica the lead instrument on the track, compared to the horns on Amy's.
