United Kingdom, June 26 -- Katie Melua is pregnant with her second child.

The 41-year-old singer chose a low-key announcement for the happy news in a post on her Instagram page, as she shared a snap of her growing bump without directly referencing it.

Alongside the picture montage, Katie wrote: "Iceland you are spectacular, I'm so keen to visit again.

"We were invited for a majestic concert at the Harpa Concert hall.

"We soaked in the Blue Lagoon, stood on solidified lava from a recent volcanic eruption, lupins were out in full force, and that church (Hallgrimskirkja, the iconic Reykjavik landmark featured in the film When the Light Breaks), every bit as striking in person.

"Thank you, Reykjavik."
