United Kingdom, April 15 -- Kate Hudson would love to work with her mom Goldie Hawn.

The 46-year-old actress has enjoyed huge success in Hollywood, starring in movies such as How to Lose a Guy in 10 Days, You, Me and Dupree, and Song Sung Blue - but Kate has not yet managed to work with her own mom.

Speaking to E! News, Kate explained: "It probably will never happen but we'll see, put it out there."

The film star also jokingly suggested that her family's dysfunctional ways might come to the fore on a movie set.

She added: "It would be like Arrested Development."

Kate also explained that she has an undying "respect for every actor in our family".
