The 35-year-old singer won the International Artist Award of Excellence at the American Music Awards in Las Vegas on Monday (25.05.26), and Karol used her acceptance speech to explain how music has changed her life.

Karol - who was handed the gong by John Legend - said at the MGM Grand Garden Arena: "Wow. What an honour, John, that you gave me this award. It's a legend. This is going to be a legend moment in my career, for sure.
