United Kingdom, Oct. 2 -- Joy Behar was forced to pull out of The View on Thursday (01.10.26) after suffering a painful on-set injury.

The 83-year-old host dislocated her shoulder after she "caught a heel backstage" the day before on the ABC daytime talk show.

Her representative told the New York Post's Page Six: "Joy caught a heel backstage but is on the mend and should be back on the show mid next week.

"Her shoulder wasn't broken and is back in place, and she is excited to be back at the table as quickly as possible."

Presenter Sunny Hostin, 57, explained Joy and 70-year-old moderator Whoopi Goldberg's absences at the start of Thursday's edition of The View.
