United Kingdom, April 14 -- Jorginho says Chappell Roan has been "understanding and sympathetic" to his stepdaughter following a "misunderstanding".

The Brazilian footballer and the Pink Pony Club singer made headlines last month after he claimed his 11-year-old stepdaughter Ada - whose dad is actor Jude Law - was reduced to tears after an "aggressive and intimidating" security guard allegedly accused the youngster of "harassing" Chappell by sneaking a peak at her idol over breakfast at a hotel in Sao Paulo, Brazil.

Chappell, 28, has since released a video denying the bodyguard was working on her instruction, and the security guard, Pascal Duvier, has taken "full responsibility for the interactions".
