United Kingdom, March 20 -- John Stamos has got his first tattoo at the age of 62.

The Fuller House actor - who is also a drummer and frequently performs on tour with the Beach Boys - has had a Native American horse rider inked on his arm and explained he hopes the artwork will serve as a reminder to take "bigger swings" with his life and career.

Over a video montage showing his inking taking place, he wrote on Instagram: "Guess who got his first tattoo?"
