United Kingdom, Oct. 15 -- John Cena went off script when he called on WWE to bring WrestleMania to London but he's still pushing for it to happen.

The 49-year-old star, who rose to fame as a wrestler before breaking into Hollywood, retired from in-ring action in December 2025 but he still works for the company as an ambassador.

Back in July 2023, he made a surprise appearance at Money In The Bank at London's O2 arena, and publicly suggested WrestleMania could come to the UK's capital.

Appearing on the Off Menu podcast, he was asked if he ran that by any bosses beforehand, and admitted: "That was just me putting it out there.
