United Kingdom, June 23 -- Joe Manganiello has survived "multiple near-death experiences" in the last decade.

The 49-year-old actor has opened up about his health woes in his new memoir, Bloodlines, which details his struggles and how they led him "beyond medicine and into a remarkable, globe-spanning quest that revealed answers about his ancestry, inherited trauma and the deeper histories we carry".
