United Kingdom, Aug. 12 -- Joe Jonas doesn't "envy anybody" in today's new generation of Disney stars.

The 36-year-old star rose to fame with brothers Kevin, 38, and Nick, 33, as part of the Jonas Brothers in the mid-2000s, as they made various Disney Channel appearances before landing their acting debut in 2008's Camp Rock.

Comparing the modern world with their own rise, Joe told The Hollywood Reporter: "I don't envy anybody that's doing this now, there's probably a lot more scrutiny.

"Things happen a lot faster, and with that you also have an opportunity to kind of explain yourself quicker; when we were starting, we didn't have a lot of options - just kind of hope that the article isn't about you.
