United Kingdom, June 11 -- Jodie Foster has joked she'll be the only actress left in Hollywood with the "jowls to play the junkie grandma" due to never having had plastic surgery.

The 63-year-old screen star opened up to The Telegraph about her decision to stay natural and insisted she's happier than ever - with her appearance and her on-screen successes.

She said: "I feel very lucky. I don't know what happened - my 50s were tough, because society gives you these weird thought processes about how you're supposed to compete with people half your age, and compete with an image you had of yourself when you were in your 20s.

"The 50s were hard for me. I felt like it was hormonal, I was just filled with anxiety and not-enough-ness.
