United Kingdom, June 27 -- Jane Seymour thinks the short-lived romance between her and Dr. Quinn, Medicine Woman co-star Joe Lando "saved" their relationship.

Lando starred as outdoorsman Bryan Sully on the show from 1993 to 1998, with Jane in the titular role, and their friendship quickly developed into a relationship off screen.

It was brief, however, with Jane admitting in a TikTok video that it was Joe's decision for them to "just be friends".

She added to her co-star: "I think it was your choice. I was a little sad.

"But then I also did the match and I realised that you had planned to have a life that didn't include suddenly having two other children."
