United Kingdom, Sept. 22 -- Jamie Oliver wants his children to realise "how lucky they are" to have him as a dad.

The 51-year-old celebrity chef, who has kids Poppy, 24, Daisy 23, Petal, 17, Buddy, 16, and 10-year-old River with wife Jools, has admitted his family aren't that impressed with his fame or culinary skills.

He told Closer magazine: "They're so unimpressed by me. I keep telling them how lucky they are and how cool their dad is, but they don't react. [laughs]

"I want them to be more grateful and in awe of their father, but I'm just their dad."
