United Kingdom, June 18 -- Jamie Lynn Spears called a priest to give her daughter the last rites before a "miraculous" recovery.

The 35-year-old actress has recalled the terrifying moment Maddie, now 18, almost died in a near-fatal ATV accident in 2017, and there was a moment during her two-day coma at the time that a priest was brought in to administer the Christian faith's last prayers and ministrations.

However, as she told PEOPLE magazine: "He comes in, and she physically sits up in all her restraints and tubes.
