United Kingdom, June 27 -- James Van Der Beek's widow says "love does not die", four months after his death.

The 48-year-old Dawson's Creek star passed away in February from cancer, leaving behind wife Kimberly, 44, and their six children - Olivia, 15, Joshua, 13, Annabel, 12, Emilia, nine, Gwendolyn, seven, and four-year-old Jeremiah.

And, Kimberly took to Instagram to pay tribute to her late spouse, who died after battling stage III colorectal cancer.

She wrote: "Baby, love does not die. Death does not part."

She also shared a number of pictures of herself and James together.

Friends took to the comments to praise Kimberly and James' relationship.
