United Kingdom, July 24 -- Jacob Elordi broke both his heels in a freak accident earlier this year.

The Wuthering Heights star, 29, had to pull out of his role as a juror at the Cannes Film Festival in May due to an unspecified injury and now the actor has revealed he broke bones in both his feet.

During an appearance on Jimmy Kimmel Live!, he explained: "I broke both my heels earlier this year. Don't talk about it. It's like, it's like Fight Club. I jumped off something."

Jacob went on to reveal he was left wearing a cast and a "moon boot" while he was filming the final series of his hit TV show Euphoria and art mirrored real life as his character Nate also suffered a nasty foot injury.
