United Kingdom, July 21 -- Ian Bohen was left bleeding after a cow kicked him in the face on the set of Yellowstone.

Jennifer Landon, who played ranch hand Teeter in Paramount Network's neo-Western drama, told how the actor both 42, who portrayed cowboy wrangler Ryan, was "on the back end" of a cow during a scene that depicted "pretty big" cattle being branded.

During the Yellowstone Bunkhouse Reunion Panel at the Fanboy Expo Knoxville, Tennessee, on July 10, she revealed: "That cow kind of got itself moving and he got kicked in the face.

"And if he wasn't such a tremendous athlete, I'm telling you, you wouldn't have a face."
