United Kingdom, Oct. 21 -- Iain Armitage has admitted he was "the most happy" about Young Sheldon coming to an end.

The 18-year-old actor's breakout role came as Shelton Cooper - originally played by Jim Parsons The Big Bang Theory - in the prequel series, and he has reflected on how he felt when in the spinoff show came to an end after seven season in 2024.

In an interview featured in Jessica Radloff's book Young Sheldon: The (Juicier-Than-Meemaw's-Brisket) Inside Story of the Hit Comedy, he revealed that he was "the most happy about the show ending" compared to the rest of the cast.

Iain revealed he wasn't "going home and crying all day", while some of his castmates were much more disappointed.
