United Kingdom, Oct. 16 -- Paris Hilton sees ADHD as her "superpower".

The 45-year-old socialite admits that ADHD, the neurodevelopmental condition that affects brain function, self-regulation, and executive functioning, has created lots of problems for her throughout her life - but she also credits it for her creative streak.

Paris - who began taking ADHD medication during her childhood - told People: "My mind is constantly racing. But I see it as a superpower because it's fuelled so much of my creativity, my imagination, my ability to think outside the box."

The reality star stressed that people who are newly diagnosed with ADHD don't have to be defined by the condition.
