United Kingdom, Aug. 17 -- Hayden Panettiere's death is under investigation but there were "no signs of foul play".

The Heroes actress has passed away at the age of 36 and the sad news was confirmed by her father Alan Panettiere in a statement which was released on Sunday (16.08.26) but he did not reveal the circumstances surrounding the tragedy. Now police in Greenville, South Carolina have revealed an "acquaintance" of the actress placed a 911 call and emergency services raced to the scene where they attempted to help Hayden but they were unable to save her.

A statement from the Greenville Police Department explained: "[Officers] accompanied by EMS personnel, responded to a report of an unresponsive female" at around 1:50 p.m. Sunday....
