United Kingdom, May 18 -- Hayden Panettiere is her own "romantic partner".

The former Heroes actress has previously dated the likes of Milo Ventimiglia and Wladimir Klitschko, and although in March she was seen with her former partner Brian Hickerson - who was previously jailed for assaulting her - she insisted she is currrently single.

She told the Sunday Times Culture magazine: "Right now, I'm my romantic partner."

In her new memoir, This Is Me, Hayden came out as bisexual and she admitted she never spoke openly about her sexuality in the past due to "fear".

She admitted: "I've had a lot to say that, for years, I haven't gotten a chance to say for many reasons, but a lot of them just were about fear and being a perfectionist."
