United Kingdom, March 8 -- Harry Styles made a surprise appearance during Ryan Gosling's hosting stint on Saturday Night Live on Saturday (07.03.26), just a week before he is due to present the programme himself.

The Project Hail Mary actor returned to the comedy sketch series for the fourth time this weekend and his opening monologue was interrupted when he spotted the Aperture singer standing in the audience.

Ryan looked into the crowd and asked: "Is that Harry Styles?"

As the camera panned over to the audience, they applauded and Ryan asked: "What are you doing here, man?"

Harry replied: "Well, I'm hosting next week and it's been a while, so I just wanted to watch, get a feel for it."
