United Kingdom, July 30 -- Hannah Waddingham has been "waiting for the right person".

The 52-year-old actress was single for years, before meeting her spine surgeon boyfriend Nick Beresford-Cleary, and Hannah has now lavished him with praise, jokingly explaining that he's "not so shabby".

Speaking to Extra about their romance, Hannah shared: "I mean, he's not so shabby . I've been waiting and waiting and waiting for the right person . You don't have to rush. Eventually, they'll be along."

Hannah has returned for a fourth season of Ted Lasso, the award-winning TV sitcom, and the actress admits that she jumped at the chance to reprise the role of Rebecca Welton.
