United Kingdom, Sept. 21 -- Halle Berry had "a little fear" about her daughter leaving home.

The 60-year-old actress' eldest child, 18-year-old Nahla Aubry - who she has with former partner Gabriel Aubry - recently moved to college and while the Crime 101 star felt "proud" seeing her daughter go off into the world on her own, she admitted it is still a daunting prospect.

She told People magazine: "[It was] a little scary.

"She's the first to go and she's my baby girl. I felt proud of her, but there's a little fear. She's in the world now all by herself.

"She went to another state, and I just hope that she makes the right decisions and that her dad and I hope we raised her up right and that she'll make the most of her experience."
