United Kingdom, March 23 -- Gwyneth Paltrow has declared she is "one of the original nepo babies".

The Marty Supreme actress - who is the daughter of actress Blythe Danner and late producer and director Bruce Paltrow - joked she received a lot of opportunities early in her career because of her family connections, but insisted that didn't mean she has always had an easy ride.

Speaking on stage at the 2026 New York Women in Film and Television Muse Awards on Friday (20.03.26), the Goop founder said: "I was extraordinarily lucky to be given opportunities early on, probably partly because I'm one of the original nepo babies, but I would be lying if I said that that made my path clear.
