United Kingdom, Aug. 26 -- Glenn Close has leapt to the defense of Kim Kardashian over criticism of her acting in All's Fair.

Describing her co-star and friend as a "KIND, funny, steady, smart powerhouse of a woman and mother", the 79-year-old Fatal Attraction star spoke out after sharing photographs from the set of the second season of Ryan Murphy's Hulu legal drama, which she is currently filming with Kim, 45.
