United Kingdom, March 5 -- Hilary Duff has claimed she received "zero education" as a result of spending her childhood working on TV and film sets.

The 38-year-old singer-and-actress began her career when she was just 10 years old, and became a household name when she landed the title role in Disney series Lizze McGuire when she was 14, but that meant she didn't get the chance to do much studying so she doesn't even have her GED (General Educational Development), which is the equivalent of a high school diploma for those who didn't finish their education.

Speaking to Jessie and Lennie Ware on their Table Manners podcast, she said: "[I received] zero education, but I know a lot about a lot of things."
