United Kingdom, Oct. 13 -- Florence Pugh is "100% proud" of her British heritage.

The Midsommar actress has been unveiled as a new ambassador for Jaguar cars, and opened up about how important it is to her to stick to her roots in all aspects of her life.

She told Vogue magazine of her new gig: "To me it's always mattered where I sit and [what] I believe. I am 100% proud of my heritage and my Britishness.

"I haven't leaned into what represents me in that way yet; I've been very focused on who I want to be first and what I want to be known for first."

Florence added that she feels "hugely proud to be connected" to "legacy brand" that "makes us want to do better and want to be better".
