United Kingdom, April 23 -- The Prince and Princess of Wales have shared intimate video footage from a family holiday to mark Prince Louis' eighth birthday.

The couple's youngest son celebrated his birthday on Thursday (23.04.26) and to mark the occasion, a montage of footage from a recent trip to Cornwall was shared on their official Instagram account.

In the video, Louis could be seen running on the beach, playing cricket, digging a hole in the sand and jumping into the sea.

The footage was captioned: 'Thank you for all the birthday wishes for Prince Louis. 8 is great.(sic)"
