United Kingdom, Sept. 9 -- Chris Rock thinks fame is "complicated".

The 61-year-old comedian - who was raised in Brooklyn, New York - has explained that the city of Los Angeles and fame are both much more complicated than many people realise.

Speaking about his relationship with Los Angeles, Chris told Variety: "It's weird. I just bought a place there so I winter in L.A. I love parts of it.

"I always say: The average movie studio, like Paramount, what's in Paramount? There's cameras, sound equipment. But what are you gonna do with that? Can you really steal that stuff?
