United Kingdom, July 27 -- Eric Roberts will "always" love his daughter Emma Roberts - despite not attending her wedding.

The 35-year-old star and Cody John recently tied the knot in Idaho, and Eric has expressed his love for his daughter, even though he didn't attend the ceremony.

Speaking to the New York Post newspaper's Page Six column, Eric said: "I love my daughter, always have, always will. It is perfectly wonderful for her to celebrate however she wants, with whomever she wants."

Emma and Cody, 36, tied the knot in an outdoor wedding over the weekend. And even though Eric wasn't in attendance, other family members were, including Hollywood star Julia Roberts, Emma's aunt.
