United Kingdom, Sept. 15 -- The Pitt, Widow's Bay, and DTF St. Louis took home the coveted Outstanding Series prizes at Monday (14.09.26) night's Emmys.

The medical saga scooped Outstanding Drama Series, while Apple TV+'s quirky horror was named Outstanding Comedy Series, and the HBO dark comedy mini series bagged the Outstanding Limited or Anthology Series during the final half hour of the ceremony, which took place at Los Angeles' Peacock Theater.

Widow's Bay creator Katie Dippold - who had earlier won the Outstanding Writing for a Comedy Series award - paid tribute to the "wonderful weirdos" who had worked on the show, as well as giving a special shoutout to her mom.
