United Kingdom, Sept. 15 -- Taylor Swift and her cat made surprise appearances at the Emmy Awards on Monday (14.09.26).

The Opalite singer wasn't in attendance at Los Angeles' Peacock Theater but she was part of a pre-taped sketch alongside the evening's host, Mariska Hargitay.

The presenter was in character as her Law and Order: Special Victims Unit alter ego Olivia Benson and urged her colleagues to "think like Swifties" in order to answer the night's biggest question: "Will Taylor Swift be at the Emmys?"
