United Kingdom, Oct. 10 -- Emilia Clarke refuses to use Instagram because it makes her "miserable" in just "30 seconds".

The Game of Thrones star told Marie Claire UK magazine that when it comes to social media, she's very much a "post and ghost" kind of person.

She explained: "I do not partake of Instagram at all because within 30 seconds I'm miserable. Have I seen a picture of myself at the Emmys? No!

"An algorithm isn't going to keep you warm at night. It's not going to give you your wildest dreams. It's not gonna make you laugh. It's not gonna support you."

Emilia also blamed social media for compounding the pressure on women to look a certain way.
