United Kingdom, Aug. 13 -- Drew Barrymore broke down in tears on her chat show on Wednesday (12.08.26), as she was reunited with a flight attendant who had comforted her on her journey to sobriety.

The 51-year-old actress struggled to control her emotions as an audience member she'd met four years ago opened up about their first encounter.

The flight attendant told Drew: "When I met you, you were crying in my galley. And we sat in my galley, and you cried and cried because you were going through so much. You were just bawling, and I just was holding you."
