United Kingdom, June 24 -- Donald Trump is set to present the World Cup trophy to the winners on July 19.

The 2026 tournament is underway with the group stage across the Untied States, Canada and Mexico, and it's been confirmed the US President will appear alongside FIFA boss Gianni Infantino to present the winning team with the prestigious prize after the final at MetLife Stadium in New Jersey.

Infantino, 56, told Fox and Friends: "We will be together with the president [Trump] enjoying the final and handing the trophy to the winner, of course, together.

"We are together all the time."

Since starting as FIFA president, Infantino has presented the World Cup trophy himself in Qatar four years ago, and the tournament in Russia in 2018....
