United Kingdom, Oct. 7 -- Domhnall Gleeson has blamed bedbugs for his "angry" appearance in Star Wars: Episode VIII - The Last Jedi.

The 43-year-old actor played the villainous First Order leader General Hux in the sequel trilogy and he recalled being "eaten alive" at his accommodation while working on the second movie in the series, and was frequently "really itchy" on set as a result.

During his upcoming appearance on The Drew Barrymore Show, Domhnall was asked what first came to mind when the host said "Star Wars" and he immediately replied: "Bedbugs."
