United Kingdom, March 14 -- Doja Cat has shared her "agonising" struggle with borderline personality disorder (BPD) in a new video.

The 30-year-old singer has been battling the mental health condition - which affects the way people see themselves and others and can cause impulsiveness and extreme emotions - "probably forever" but has always tried to "pretend" that she is happy.

In a new TikTok video, in which she defended Chappell Roan after she was recently seen filming fans and paparazzi after asking them to leave her alone, Doja said: "I've learned from a very young age to pretend that I like stuff, to pretend that I'm happy, to pretend that I don't like stuff that I do, to appear like everything is okay.
