United Kingdom, Aug. 11 -- Demi Lovato has "never been so happy" in her life.

The 33-year-old singer-and-actress celebrated her first wedding anniversary with husband Jordan 'Jutes' Lutes in May, and she admitted the "safe space" she has found in her relationship with the producer has helped her find true contentment in her life.

Demi told People magazine: "Communications [is the] biggest and the most important thing in a relationship.

"When you're able to communicate with each other what you need, what you want, it creates a safe space for the two of you to share your feelings with one another.

"My love for Jordan grows every single day, and I've never been so happy in my life. So I think communication is a big part of that."
